Events

Capoeira students form a roda for the batizado at Emory University

Every six months, Capoeira Decatur works hard to host batizados and troca de cordas for students.

At these events, capoeira teachers from all over the US and Brazil come to test the capoeira students from Decatur and Emory. The students also have the opportunity to show what they have learned to friends, family, and loved ones.
